Section of a potato line: washing or brushing (25 t/h)

The section of the line is suitable for companies which process both dry and washed brushed produce, but would prefer not to invest in two complete lines. The line is perfectly suitable in particular if switching between brushed and washed produce is performed seasonally. This line is also especially popular on the markets where the development of market shares for washed and unwashed produce cannot be predicted easily. The section of the production line can be designed for 10, 25, 35 and 50 t/h.

The operating state "Washing" or "Brushing" can be selected in the control unit. The produce is transferred by means of an elevator conveyor onto a reverse conveyor belt. Depending on the operating state the produce is either transported to the washing machine with subsequent dryer or to the brushing machine. After the corresponding processing the produce is guided onto a common belt and can be supplied, for example for packaging or sorting.
